| This superb vehicle was spotted at the Stratford Show. It says it is a 'Vixen'. No idea what it is based on. If it is yours, or you know about it then how about sending us some details. We would love to know. | |||
|
Dear Ken The vehicle you spotted at Stratford is indeed a 'Vixen' RV and there are at least two in the UK (as I am presently negotiating the purchase of another example). There would appear to have been in the region of 500 built and a well run owners association is still operating in the USA. The majority are fitted with rear mounted BMW 2.5l diesel engines giving an excellent fuel economy of between 25 and 30 mpg. Further information regarding these vehicles can be found at www.agencyrv.com/vixen.htm . If the owner C2 CUB has been in contact I would very much appreciate it if you will pass on my e-mail address as his experience of running a Vixen in the UK should be very enlightening. Thanks, Bill Weir |
