2007 VW Mobil A640 6-berth
Motorhome This is a full 6 berth motorhome that was purchased new in Germany in April 2007, brought back to the UK and Registered as new on 17.4.07. The vehicle is a left hand drive model has been used as a hire motorhome between May until November 2007. It currently has a mileage of 14,997 miles. It is taxed until the end of March 2008 (a years road tax is currently £180 per year). It has been regularly serviced before the manufacturers set intervals and these are recorded in the service logbook. This is a left-hand drive model and is built upon the new Fiat Ducato chassis introduced in late 2006 and has the new 2.2L multijet 100HP engine, driver’s airbag and ABS braking. It can accommodate 6 adults in three separate areas; a large double bed above the front drivers cab, a double bed in the dining area in the middle of the motorhome and two single bunk beds at the rear that fold up to provide a large garage space for bikes, outdoor gear etc. The A640 is very good looking with a red frontage with white coach work. The front bumpers are co-ordinated to match the front of the vehicle. It has red matching decals at the sides and rear and overall has the appearance of a very modern motorhome. Extras included with the A640: Awning over side entrance, External bike storage rack fitted to the rear of the vehicle, Internal garage storage area, Internal safe, Dash mounted Radio/CD/MP3 player, Electrical hook-up cable and adapters, Water hoses, Roof mounted satellite dish and receiver. All windows are double-glazed to retain the maximum amount of heat and have both night and fly screens. A Trumatic gas warm air blown heating system is installed. Fiat Ducato/Lunar Champ 520E 4b We are reluctantly selling our Fiat Ducato/Lunar Champ 520E 4b, as we now need 5 berths. It is in virtually ‘as new’ condition, the oven has never been used. Above the cab is a very generous double and the dinette converts to another double. There are 2 seatbelts in the rear; cupboard & stowage space is extremely generous and the work surface is probably the longest of any motorhome. Ford Transit 2.0 litre petrol manual, when serviced in the spring both new batteries were replaced plus all electrical, plumbed and gas equipment checked and serviced. Being the reliable transit the van is very easy to maintain, rear wheel drive so light to steer and Ford parts are cheap and readily available. We have found it entirely reliable. The interior accommodation is 4 berth which is laid out as two separate 6 foot double beds, one above the drivers cab and the second main bed converts from the seating area. The equipment includes central heating from hot air system. Hot and cold water supplies two basins and shower unit plus flushing cassette toilet. The kitchen area includes 3 ring hob, separate oven and grill and sink/drainer. There is ample storage and an 80 litre water tank which is accessed externally. Grey water collection and drain off tank supplied. Also external access to gas cylinders - two supplied, access compartment for loo. Extras supplied include fold down corner steadies and levelling wedges, two gas cylinders and brand new batteries. Zig charging unit, external mains hook-up and water drain off tank.
