Classified Advertising

Please Read this Notice for all Classified Adverts Due to the large number of unscrupulous companies and individuals who use technology to collect e-mail addresses from the web to use for sending SPAM, we recommend that all advertisers should, wherever possible, use telephone numbers for buyers to contact them initially.  If a mobile number is used then it must be noted as such Make sure that you clear your buyer's funds before parting with your goods as there have been reports of 'scams' on unsuspecting sellers. Basic Motorhome information. You should give as much information about your Motorhome as possible. i.e. Manufacturer, model, year, class, and of course your asking price. A well composed description of your Motorhome.  Probable one of the most important part of your advert.  A well thought out description joined with well taken pictures will almost certainly guarantee more views. Your description should reflect the best features of your Motorhome. Words like "one owner, like new, garage kept, well-maintained, fully loaded, best offer, one of a kind, non smokers, no pets" will draw more attention to your advert. Try to use complete sentences and good grammar in your description where possible. Photos of your Vehicle. Photos help to sell more vehicle's than anything else! You may have up to 4 photos, so use the facility to best advantage. They will give a potential buyer something to look at, instead of just text. Please be sure that your photos are in .jpg format wherever possible. Also it’s a good idea to resize your photos so they are no more than 40-60 KB in size and about 400 pixels in width. This will keep download times shorter on your vehicle's advert so that potential buyers are not waiting too long to see what it looks like. Period of advertising You can have your advert on the site for as long as it take to sell it, however adverts will be reviewed every two months and removed if you do not notify us that you wish it to remain.  We also request that you notify us when the vehicle is sold so that we can remove it before you get bothered by unwanted contacts
Vehicles for Sale	Categorised by type.  This section is usually updated within three days of receiving new adverts.  You do not have to wait till the next issue to have your vehicle up for sale.  For a limited period it's FREE for private advertisers too!!!  Due to the large number of vehicles for sale, there is a separate section for each category so that they do not take too long to load. There are also sections for  5th Wheel, Trailer Tents, Caravans and Canal and River Boats. Check them out and get yours advertised. It costs NOTHING.
'Wanted' Adverts	This section is dedicated all those things you want and hope that someone else has got.  It can be anything from a Porta-Potti to your ideal motorhome
Swap Shop	Where you can swap almost anything for almost anything.
Small Ads.	This is the place to sell all your unwanted bits and pieces.  This section is usually updated within three days of receiving new adverts,  so you do not have to wait till the next issue to sell or buy.  For a limited period this section is free for private advertisers too!!!
PLEASE NOTE One of the best selling Motorhome Magazines in the UK has several notices in it's classified section, referring to unscrupulous websites, who ring the magazine's classified advertisers, saying that they have buyers waiting to buy their vehicles, in return for a registration fee of £79.99.   According to the magazine, these websites are 'Low volume, poorly marketed, with response levels below those delivered by official magazine websites' (Whatever an official magazine website is!)  We wish to make it clear that we do not fall into any of those categories.  First, and probably most important, all private classified adverts on this site are currently ABSOLUTELY FREE, including colour photographs, adverts are included on the site within days (not weeks!) of being received and they can remain on the site as long as it takes for the vehicle to be sold.  We do not, as yet, 'poach' the classified advertisers from any other magazine.  As for 'low volume', we currently receive well over 400,000 hits on the site every month and you only have to contact any of our advertisers to find out what the 'response rates' are.  We don't claim to be the the most 'flash' site on the web, and we don't claim that it is perfect,  but it is a site run by a motorhome enthusiast to give a service to motorhomers which is second to none - FREE.  If you don't believe it then give us a try, it will cost you nothing, so what have you got to lose.
