I have purchased in April 2007 a Fiat Based Motorhome. Which has a 2.3 litre
engine 130 BHP type X250. Whenever I reverse up the slightest hill the
engine and Gearbox judder Violently, I have spoken to Fiat Italy and Fiat
Customer Relations, and have several letters by return, a standard letter
saying that 1300 Rpm in reverse gear reduces the Judder. I have tried this,
but this makes the clutch burn. Fiat fail to admit there is a problem, but I
am told by other owners that their Gearboxes have had to be replaced, and
the problem is still there.
